Most of the problems relating to inequality in the workplace, or conflict between teams from different cultures, arise because of failure to engage in learning dialogue.
For employees to accept and work enthusiastically with colleagues, who they perceive to be different, there needs to be a level and quality of conversation that explores assumptions, reveals stereotypes and permits people to challenge constructively both their own and other people’s thinking.
Effective diversity management is impossible without diversity dialogue.
