John Campbell-Ricketts


John is an experienced coach, mentor, trainer and HR consultant who gained considerable management and command experience during 30 years' Police service. Operationally, and as a senior HR manager, he applied his experience in developing the leadership potential of many officers and staff.

Since coaching managers (1:1 and in teams) within the Police service, he has extended his coaching experience into a wide range of organisations in the private, public and voluntary sectors. As well as being directly involved in coaching, he works in the development and support of coaching and mentoring programmes, including qualifications with the OSC&M and with the CIPD.

He is an accredited executive coach within the European Commission, an accredited assessor for the EMCC Programme Quality Awards and the ISMPE, and also an assessor for OSC&M and CIPD.

He has a MA in HRM and is a Chartered Fellow of CIPD. He holds the Diploma in Training Management (IPD) and the Advanced Diploma in Professional Coaching and Mentoring (Oxford School of Coaching and Mentoring). He is a faculty member of the OSC&M.

John is a project volunteer at the Cranfield Trust and also policy advisor in the West Yorkshire Branch of the CIPD.
